1.        What are the minimum system requirements for Lethal?

PC:

Pentium 2.0 GHz processor or equivalent or better

4GB RAM or more

1024 x 768 display or higher

Windows 7/8/8.1/10

5GB disk space - more for expansion packs

 

MAC:

Intel 2.0 GHz processor or better

4GB RAM or more

1024 x 768 display or higher

Mac OSX 10.9 or higher.

2.        What host DAW software is Lethal compatible with?

Lethal is generally compatible with any DAW that accepts VST, AU or AAX, including, but not limited to:

Ableton Live

Acoustica Mixcraft

Apple Logic Pro X

Cakewalk Sonar 8 or above

Image-Line FL Studio (PC)

Presonus Studio One 2 or above

Pro Tools 11 or above

Steinberg Cubase

 

3.        How is Lethal delivered?

Lethal is delivered to you digitally over the internet as a download. Your installation files

will be available to you instantly for download within your account on our site.

 

4.        Can I purchase a hard copy or boxed version of Lethal?

Lethal is only available for purchase online as a digital download through our site.

 

5.        What formats are Lethal available in?

PC:

VST (32/64 BIT)

AAX (32/64 BIT)

 

MAC:

VST (64 BIT)

AU (32/64 BIT)

AAX (32/64 BIT)

 

6.        Where do I find my serial number?

Your serial number can be found in your account.

 

7.        Where do I download the installers/expansions?

All downloads can be found in your account. Expansions will automatically appear in your account when available.

 

8.        How do I install Lethal?

Once you have downloaded the Lethal & Core Library installers for either PC/MAC from your account, follow these steps:

PC:

Firstly, install Lethal by double clicking the file and following the prompts.

Secondly, install the Core Library the same way. You may choose to install your Core Library on a different drive if so desired.

On first run, you will be required to enter your serial code, which is found within your account on our site.

 

MAC:

Firstly, install Lethal by Command + Click, or right clicking the file, then click “Open”.

Click open and follow the prompts.

9.        How do I install expansion packs?

Download the desired expansion pack installation file for either PC/MAC from your account.

PC:

Install the expansion pack by double clicking the file and following the prompts.

MAC:

Install the downloaded expansion by Command + Click, or right clicking the file, then click “Open”.

Click open and follow the prompts.


10.      How do I activate Lethal?

Once you open Lethal in your host DAW software (e.g. Ableton Live) for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your serial number. Copy and paste your serial number (as shown in your account on our site) or type it in manually, then press OK.

Upon opening particular host DAW’s, you may be prompted to enter your serial number during the host DAW’s start up scan of new plugins.


11.      How do I deactivate Lethal?

To deactivate Lethal, simply click the 'deactivate' button located in the System menu tab within Lethal. If for some reason the 'deactivate' button is greyed out, simply select and load any preset from the Library then try again.

 

12.      How many computers can I install Lethal on?

A single Lethal license is licensed for one person. Since many people use multiple sources (eg. a laptop & desktop) you are permitted two activations (PC/MAC or both). If you would like to run Lethal on more than two computers you must purchase additional licenses.

Lethal features a 'deactivate' button in the System menu tab within Lethal, its purpose is to allow you to make any hardware changes or transfer your license to a different system without the worry of using up your activations. If for some reason the 'deactivate' button is greyed out, simply select and load any preset from the Library then try again.

Note: Lethal requires an internet connection for activation (offline activation not available)


13.      Can I transfer my license to a new user?

Yes, we allow you to transfer your license to a new user. Simply 'deactivate' your license from all your systems (System menu tab within Lethal) then email a request to support@lethalaudio.com using your registered email address and also providing the new users full name and email address.

Note: If the 'deactivate' button is greyed out, simply select and load any preset from the Library and then try again.


14.      The MAC Core Library installation appears frozen while initially verifying?

The installation only appears frozen but is well and truly at work. Please allow up to 5 minutes for it to complete verifying.


15.      The Core Library installation appears frozen during installation?

The installation only appears frozen but is well and truly at work. Please remember its a 5GB installation so allow up to 10 minutes for it to complete installing.


16.      Why is there no sound coming out of Lethal?

There could be a number of issues with this problem, especially if you are a beginner.

i. Lethal may not be activated properly. Try closing and reopening your host DAW, then load Lethal again and enter your serial number if prompted.

ii. You may not have the appropriate channel in your DAW properly armed for use with your midi keyboard. (Check with your host DAW’s manual).

iii. You may not have the appropriate audio driver selected in your host DAW’s audio settings.

iv. Your audio cabling chain may be incorrect.

v. Your audio interface may require a firmware update.

vi. Your host DAW may be incompatible or too old (highly unlikely).

17.      How do I install updates of Lethal?

Download the latest Lethal installer (PC/MAC) from your account.

PC:

Install Lethal by double clicking the file and following the prompts.

Note: PC - You must first uninstall the previous version of Lethal (x64)/Lethal (x86) from Control Panel before installing update.

 

MAC:

Install Lethal by Command + Click or right clicking the file, then click “Open”. Click Open again and follow the prompts.

 

18.      Is Lethal a hardware synthesizer?

Lethal is not a hardware synthesizer. It is an extremely powerful software plugin, coded upon rom-based technology similar to how some hardware synthesizers work.

19.      How do I get the best CPU performance?

If applicable, make sure CPU multi-threading options are enabled within your host DAW’s settings.

Increase your sample buffer within your host DAW’s audio settings.

 

20.      My question isn’t answered here or I’m having technical difficulties with Lethal.
